Our collection is inspired by the animals that had symbolic status for the Vikings who ruled Orkney. Our Viking ancestors felt a great affinity for the wild wolf's natural instincts as a loyal and cooperative member of a close-knit pack, but also as a fearless and determined hunter. We share the determination and collaboration of our Viking Age ancestors and celebrate these qualities in LOYALTY OF THE WOLF, a single malt that displays a delicate balance of contrasts, just like the Vikings - and the wolves - themselves. Matured in a combination of sherry -aged American oak barrels and ex-bourbon barrels to create a complex whiskey with flavors of vanilla sponge cake, baked apples and cinnamon.
